Ticket sale refused

Thank you for your support of our charities. You need to allow your device to show its location in order to purchase tickets with our geofencing application (as requested by AGCO).

We have upgraded our geofencing to better serve our supporters. We have noticed a small percentage of purchasers are having issues because their browser location detection is turned off. To learn how to reset that option, click here to watch our short tutorial video. https://youtu.be/WvvHyO5idzI

The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario’s lottery rules clearly state that tickets can only be purchased within the Province of Ontario. If you are visiting Ontario, you are eligible to play as long as the ticket(s) are purchased at the time you are physically within the province.

If this is the case, we offer you the following options to purchase tickets;

  1. Reboot your device as it probably contains history/cache with out of province connections.
  2. Allow/show your device’s location.
  3. Follow the instructions on our Location Troubleshooting folder Location Troubleshooting – Kin Club of Russell 

You must allow your browser to share your location to purchase tickets. Please enable location services for this browser and try again. Click here to learn how to enable your Device Location Services.

As well, we are finding that some of the computers/devices in the greater Ottawa area (ie: Ottawa, Embrun, Metcalfe), are routed through a Quebec based IP address, or their ‘new’ ISP is not providing a valid IP address, thereby indicating you are not within the province. You may check where your device is routed through  https://whatismyipaddress.com/

We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience. We value your loyalty to these great causes and our club, however, we are bound to follow these guidelines and procedures. We trust you understand.
